Very Good
Very good value. The onsen was amazing!
A very small room that smelled of cigarettes (but we reserved a smoking room which was an only option so it is understandable - but the whole floor smelled like cigarettes). Also the TV didn't support the USB port to watch our own movies.

Solid hotel close to Toyama train station. Good comfort and clean as usual in APA hotel. Onsen was also good for guest free.

Ok for it's money. Probably stay in the same chain again, but in the different building.
Not my first time in this chain. Very nice staff, helped us to remove extra water (it was raining) and dirt from our bags when we left them in the hotel before the check-in. Many ways to pay, I do appreciate that they have Au pay. Clean room, coffee and green tea as an offered drinks in the room, which is nice. Good view from the room, and everything was clean.
We rented two rooms for two people. You would expect one bed in each room, but somehow we had two separate beds in each room. It's not super uncomfortable, more weird and inconvenient in terms if you want to sleep in a bigger space. Too many mirrors, it's good to have these, it's not so good to look at yourself while doing business on the toilet. You can use either a hair dryer or a kettle at once. A lot of noise from the trains. Yes, ekimae in the name suggests it would be near a station, but in other buildings, the noise of trains and street, in general, wasn't much trouble. Horrendous restaurant. We didn't ate breakfast there only dinner. It was cold tempura (fried food)
